Cookie notice

Last updated 11 August 2026

We don’t track you, so there’s nothing to consent to

This site sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no tracking pixels. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no advertising network and no cross-site profiling of any kind. That is why you were not shown a cookie banner — under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, consent is required for non-essential cookies, and we don’t set any.

What is actually stored on your device

For completeness, here is everything this site may put on your device, and why.

NameSet byPurposeLasts
yuag_cert_gen_* This site Browser storage (not a cookie) that remembers you have already generated your CPD certificate, so the page can offer to re-print it. Never leaves your device. Until you clear your browser data
__cf_bm, cf_clearance Cloudflare Strictly necessary security cookies that distinguish real visitors from bots and protect the site from automated abuse. They contain no information that identifies you personally. Up to 30 minutes / 1 year
CF_Authorization Cloudflare Access Strictly necessary sign-in cookie for the committee console at /admin. Only ever set for logged-in committee members — never for ordinary visitors. Session

Strictly necessary cookies of this kind are exempt from the consent requirement, because the site could not be kept secure or usable without them. You can still block them in your browser settings, though sign-in to the committee console will stop working if you do.

Third-party content

We deliberately keep third-party content to a minimum.

  • Google Fonts — the site’s typefaces are loaded from Google’s font service. This does not set cookies, but it does mean Google receives your IP address when the fonts are fetched.
  • Maps — we do not embed an interactive map. The venue panel in the footer is a plain link; nothing is loaded from Google unless you choose to click it.

There are no social media widgets, embedded videos, chat bubbles, advertising tags or share buttons anywhere on this site.

Changing your mind

Because we set nothing that requires consent, there is no preference for you to change. If you want to clear what is stored, use your browser’s “clear browsing data” option for this site. Every major browser also lets you block cookies entirely at Settings → Privacy.

If we ever add analytics, this page will be updated and a genuine consent banner will appear before anything is set. See also our privacy notice and terms and conditions.
